THE NATIONAL DEBATE PROJECT is a collaborative project between Emory University's initiative for the Urban Debate League and Georgia State University to acquire the necessary resources to extend the benefits of debate and advocacy training to traditionally underserved students. THE CENTER FOR INTERNATIONAL MEDIA EDUCATORSThe Center for International Media Education (CIME) and it's director Dr. Leonard Teel has sponsored more than sixty World Media Forums that bring journalists from around the world to dialog with students at Georgia State and its long-distance learning partners. THE INDIE ATL MUSIC PROJECT (In association with D.A.E.L) The Indie Atl music project is a special project sponsored by the D.A.E.L and is produced entirely by GSU staff and students. Local, regional, national and International music acts have graced the stage and the show continues to grow in popularity and importance as contribution to culture and a recruiting vehicle for the Communication department.
